Adding and verifying your businesses
Post as your business, and earn a Verified badge.

Run a restaurant, a travel agency, a practice or any other business? Add it under My businesses (in your account menu). You can add several. When you post a listing, a job or an event, choose which business to post as — the post then shows the business's name instead of yours.
Each business can also be verified on its own for a Verified business badge. Open the business under My businesses and choose Verify: you upload one document and our team checks it. In the US that's the IRS EIN confirmation letter (CP 575) or a Form 147C; in other countries it's the official business or charity registration certificate. A business pays a small one-time fee (shown in your currency before you pay); you only pay once the document is approved, and if it isn't, you can upload another without paying again.
A non-profit, a charity or a place of worship is verified free and earns a Verified non-profit badge (its private event invitations are always free too). Your document is private: only you and our team can open it, and it is deleted 30 days after we decide. If you later change the business's name, registration number or country, it needs a new check to keep the badge.
