How Marketplace and Classifieds work
The difference between the two, and how listings are sorted.
Help center / Buying & selling
Marketplace is for items — cars, furniture, electronics, jewelry, home-cooked food and more. Classifieds covers everything else people post: jobs, housing and roommates, services, tutoring, rideshare, matrimonial and notices.
Both are sorted by distance from your home area by default, with newest listings and featured placements surfaced first. Use the filters on each page to narrow by category, price or condition.
